ㅇ Key Activities:
- Shared Korea’s legislative experience in primary health care and discussed opportunities for legislative cooperation.
- Promoted parliamentary exchange and legislative collaboration in health among parliamentarians across the Asia-Pacific region.
[Participation in the 2023 Asia-Pacific TB Summit]
ㅇ Date: 21–25 March 2023
ㅇ Locations: New Delhi and Varanasi, India
ㅇ Key Activities:
- Participated in the 2023 Asia-Pacific TB Summit in New Delhi.
- Visited leading institutions involved in India’s National Tuberculosis Elimination Programme.
- Participated in the 2023 One World TB Summit in Varanasi.
[Visit to Tashkent, Uzbekistan]
ㅇ Date: 14–19 February 2023
ㅇ Purpose: To strengthen Korea–Uzbekistan cooperation in the healthcare sector
ㅇ Key Activities:
- Met with members of the Parliamentary Health Committee of Uzbekistan.
- Visited Korean international development cooperation project sites, including Tashkent Medical Academy, Arirang Nursing Home, and Tashkent Medical University.
- Met with representatives of the Korean community and explored measures to enhance their welfare.
